Short listed for two special awards: Mary Finch Accessibility Award and the CILIP Delegates Choice Award
The design of the new High Wycombe library is an absolute triumph. All credit to our good friends at Bisset Adams for the vision and understanding of how libraries in the 21st Century have to function within the community. We worked closely with the design team to source products that would attract clients to an environment that engages all age and social groupes. Taking inspiration from commercial and retail the results repect the users as informed and sophistacated. This is what all libraries should be aiming for.
